Academic Achiever Progam

Academic excellence is one of the first priorities of the MTA Karate Academy. The Academic Achiever Program was developed to recognize and encourage young karate students who distinguish themselves academically. Students making the A-B honor roll are authorized by the Academy to wear the coveted gold and black Academic Achiever Badge under their school patch. Wearing the Academic Achiever Badge is indeed an honor that can be earned only through academic diligence and is part of the criteria used to select leaders for the Black Belt Club, SWAT Team and Demo Team. The MTA Karate is currently working to develop additional incentives for students earning the Academic Achiever Badge. Currently, over 85% percent of the students enrolled in the Academy have earned this honor.
